Jesus Thank You

I can't help myself but cry everytime I can hear this song. Our Lord Jesus Christ was treated as the worst of all sinners because of saving us. He gave His life for us to satisfy God's wrath (God the Father). He saved us and gave us eternal life.

The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend
The agonies of Calvary
You the perfect Holy One, crushed Your Son
Who drank the bitter cup reserved for me

Your blood has washed away my sin
Jesus, thank You
The Fathers wrath completely satisfied
Jesus, thank You
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table
Jesus, thank You

By Your perfect sacrifice Ive been brought near
Your enemy Youve made Your friend
Pouring out the riches of Your glorious grace
Your mercy and Your kindness know no end

Lover of my soul
I want to live for You

The Husband and Wife's Responsibility to Strengthen the Marriage Relationship

God commanded that Husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church according to Ephesians 5:25.. Husbands are told to love their wives the way Christ loved the church. As a head of the family, he has a primary responsibility for leadership, provision, and protection. He should feel the greater responsibility to take lead in the things of the Spirit. He should lead the family in a life of prayer, study of God's word, and in worship. He should lead out in giving the family a vision of its meaning and mission. He should also take the lead in shaping the moral fabric of the home and in governing its happy peace. A husband should be a leader in the family and the wife is obligated to submit to her husband. Sometimes I am thinking that a husband could never experience the pain of his wife of bearing or delivering their child into birth. They can't experience how it feels to give birth that is why, husband should love their wives. God also commanded that Wives be subject to your Husbands.... for the husband is the head of a wife...A wife should recognize and honor her husband's greater responsibility to lead the home. She should be disposed to yield to her husbands authority and should be inclined to follow his leadership. It doesn't mean that submitting to the husband is stepping your own pride. The Bible teaches in Ephesians 5:22 that Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. Take note that the verse says, as to the Lord. Meaning to say that by subjecting to your husband, you are also subjecting to the Lord. Everything we do is an act of worship. So submitting to a husband is an act worship to God as well as loving the wife. I am very thankful to God for all the learning's I have learned in the Bible conference. The Lord will be glorified always in our lives.

The true essence of praising Christ is pricing Him!. He is the most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him. Anything that we do or act that can please God is an act of worship. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, Wether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God. When I understood the true meaning of worship, living as a christian is so wonderful and full of joy. That is the reason why I am content with my simple life because I found the true joy in Christ alone. Everything I will do that can please God is an act of  worship.

The Nature of Being A Christian Worker

A true Servant of Christ must be bound to His calling. The Old and New Testament use the one word "Servant" to translate a variety words from original languages. The meaning of "Servant" is really a "Slave" but they just differ in functions. The word "slave" maybe used to a person in relation to his master but the word "servant" refers in relation to his work. In, 1 Corinthians 4:1( Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. NASB) Paul speaks about the nature of being a servant or a worker in Christ. The greek word of "servant" in this text is "huperetas" which means a minister, helper, one who is in the service. It refers to a rower. A rower refers to the lowest, most menial, and most despised slave who rowed in the bottom tier of the ship.

This is the background of a rower in the Old Testament:
1. He is facing to the Captain of the ship.
2. He never knew the direction. Only The Captain knows where to go.
3. His hands and feet are chained. So if ever he thinks to escape, he only hurts himself.
4. He is submitting to his superior by following the beats of drums...( i can't really describe if it was a drum but it sounds like that)
5. The one who give him a food is the same slave like him.
6. He has no name and no reputation. He is considered as a thing or a property.

As an application to our lives, the Captain of the ship refers  to our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the captain of our lives who knows everything about us. He alone knows the direction wherever He wants us to go being His worker in the ministry. That is why Paul said that he was not being sent by man but by God. We cannot escape to God's call. Let us not wait anymore that there still accident happen to us before we follow and obey God's call to us in the ministry. Let's preach CHRIST! Let us not be worried also about the food to eat because God is our Great Provider. He is always faithful to His promises. Sometimes, I felt sad to some minister who are angry if they are not recognize as pastor, bishop, reverent or any addressees. The servant in the Bible has no name. We are not serving to please men but we are serving to glorify God. Let us serve the Lord with all humility.

A true worker must be a Steward too. In the NT times, the word "steward" was usually used of the person appointed to look after his master's household or business. "Steward in Greek is "oikonomos" which means steward, manager of a household". The steward is higher than just a mere servant because in 1 Corinthians 4:1, he is entrusted with no ordinary work. He was entrusted with the most glorious thing which is the "Mysteries of God". So though, we are servants and yet our work or task is glorious. Being a steward, he should be careful always to stay in the boundary of which God given him. The moment we are not anymore in the boundary God gave us, We are in trouble. We should always Submit to His will.
